pestoOk, I love summer. I love to wake up early and to go out in my garden: I love the flavor of my fresh herbs. Ok and for lunch? I love to prepare an amazing pasta with pesto for my family! Easy and delicious. :))

Basil Pesto (for 4)

1 clove of peeled garlic
sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
a large bunch of basil leaves
50 g pine nuts
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
50 g grated Parmesan


Bash the garlic in a pestle and mortar with a pinch of salt (if you prefer, you can also use a food processor). Add the basil and pine nuts and pound to a coarse paste. Add extra virgin olive oil and Parmesan and continue bashing and pounding until smooth. Add salt and pepper if needed. Serve with grilled meat, fish, vegetables… or simply stirred through pasta.
